The CFL at Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium was also the home of the CFL team Baltimore Stallions who played two seasons (94, 95) at the Stadium. The Baltimore Stallions were formerly known as the Baltimore CFL Colts. The football fans welcome the Stallions with an average attendance of 30,000 plus. The Stallions were the first American team in the CFL to win the Grey Cup. With the NFL coming back to Baltimore, the Stallions owner Jim Speros decided to move the team north to Montreal.
